Gioia Perugini to Present at Philanthropy Massachusetts Webinar on “Addressing Climate Change One Dollar at a Time, Even If We Are Not Environmental Funders”
Gioia Perugini will help lead a conversation on “Addressing Climate Change One Dollar at a Time, Even If We Are Not Environmental Funders” on May 22.
About the Webinar:
In this one hour webinar we will discuss how climate changes affects most everything that funders care about. From arts, to housing, immigration and education, climate change permeates virtually every issue. Whether you consider yourself an “environmental funder” or not, climate change is a cause and an effect influencing everyday lives. No one is untouched.
The Roundtable is intended to be a conversation starter which will benefit from participation of both seasoned and newly curious climate funders. Peer to peer learning will help expand the group's thinking about connections between climate change and all other areas of funding.
On hand to share their insights and strategies for climate change related funding will be:
- Sarah Christiansen, Program Director, Solidago Foundation
- Gioia Perugini, Associate Director, Family Office and Philanthropy Services, Hemenway & Barnes
- Jenny Russell, Executive Director, Merck Family Fund
