Giving Back in Our Community
Our commitment to our community extends beyond the walls of the firm. Giving back is a core value at Hemenway & Barnes. Our professionals devote time to the communities in which we work and live, providing pro bono legal services, volunteering, and performing days of service as a firm. We weave our commitment to diversity and community into the work we do, the vendors with whom we do business and our hiring practices. Ours is an open culture where neighbor helps neighbor. Jeans for a Cause: Supporting the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes
In honor of Memorial Day and Patriots Week in the month of May, Hemenway & Barnes raised funds for the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes. We are also a proud sponsor of the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Annual Memorial Dinner on May 26, 2022.
Finding Inspiration
Our clients, Jessica Kensky and Patrick Downes, published the book, "Rescue & Jessica". The inspiring story of a girl and her service dog is based on the real-life partnership between the book's author and her service dog, Rescue.
