Supporting Girls on the Run

Members from our H&B community wore denim and raised funds to support Girls on the Run Greater Boston and Hemenway & Barnes attorney, Keirsa Johnson, who is running the 2024 Boston Marathon to raise funds for the organization.

Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others. Founded in 1996, Girls on the Run International is a nonprofit that has served more than 2 million girls across North America.

Keirsa Johnson ran the Boston Marathon in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and in 2022 to raise finds for Boston area youth wellness and homeless service providers.
