Johanna Schneider to Co-Chair the BBA Land Use & Development Committee

Johanna W. Schneider has been selected to Co-Chair the Boston Bar Association Land Use & Development Committee alongside Jessica Powell, Associate Counsel at the Davis Companies. Part of the BBA Real Estate Section, this committee focuses on issues related to land use and development in the context of real estate transactions. Johanna previously served as co-chair of the Committee from 2012 to 2014.

Johanna has more than 20 years of experience advising public and private clients on real estate development projects and real estate litigation. Working on complex real estate development projects, Johanna guides owners, developers and other entities through local, state and federal permitting processes. Johanna has also successfully represented clients in all stages of land use and zoning litigation, including mediations and appeals. She is active in industry associations and serves on her town’s Zoning Board of Appeals. Prior to practicing law, Johanna was a consultant to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
