Johanna Schneider Elected to The Abstract Club

Hemenway & Barnes real estate attorney Johanna W. Schneider has been elected to The Abstract Club.

Founded over 150 years ago, The Abstract Club is comprised of lawyers who are considered leaders in the field of real estate law. Membership is limited to 100 lawyers in Massachusetts and is by invitation only.

Johanna has more than 20 years of experience advising public and private clients on real estate development projects and real estate litigation. Working on complex real estate development projects, Johanna guides owners, developers and other entities through local, state and federal permitting processes. Johanna has also successfully represented clients in all stages of land use and zoning litigation, including mediations and appeals. Johanna is Co-Chair of the Boston Bar Association Land Use & Development Committee and Co-Chair of The Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts (REBA) Litigation Section. She also serves on her town’s Zoning Board of Appeals. Prior to practicing law, Johanna was a consultant to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Read Johanna's full biography here.
