Eleanor Evans to Present “Year in Review” at MCLE 24th Annual Nonprofit Law Conference

Hemenway & Barnes counsel Eleanor Evans will co-present the “Year in Review” session at the 24th Annual Nonprofit Law Conference on May 3, 2023 at the MCLE Conference Center in Boston, MA.

This 2023 MCLE Nonprofit Law Conference will explore the many ways in which charitable activities may be funded, factoring in philanthropic and organizational perspectives, and practical and legal considerations. Speakers will share their expertise and experience from the general counsel’s office of leading nonprofits, nonprofit grant-making institutions and consulting companies, the Office of the Attorney General’s Division of Nonprofit Organizations/Public Charities Division, and as nonprofit and tax practitioners.

Eleanor Evans has over 20 years’ experience representing nonprofit and for-profit organizations in a diverse range of legal, governance and compliance matters. She provides practical advice to private foundations, public charities and other tax-exempt organizations on strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
