About the Program

This panel of experts discuss the basics of real estate ownership and transfers that every estate planner should know sine real estate issues frequently arise in connection with estate planning. Topics include the various tenancies and forms of property ownership, transfers of real estate during life and after an owner’s death (including the court probate process), and considerations when dealing with and transferring real estate held in trust. In addition, the panel discusses potential disputes and litigation issues in the areas relevant to estate planners.
