Brad Bedingfield and Paul Cathcart to Speak at BBA CLE Program “Think Globally; Plan Locally: A Review of Estate Planning Issues with Global Clients

Hemenway & Barnes partner Brad Bedingfield and associate Paul Cathcart will be panelists at the upcoming Boston Bar Association Continuing Legal Education program “Think Globally; Plan Locally: A Review of Estate Planning Issues with Global Clients” on October 30, 2019. The panel of experienced practitioners will discuss a general review of estate, gift, and income tax issues that arise when representing clients with global connections. Discussions will include foreign trusts, tax reporting issues, planning for foreign spouses, and issues facing US clients living abroad and non-US persons in the US. The program will offer practical tips for working with global clients and foreign counsel and include an additional detailed-focus on US/UK and US/Canada.
