Matthew J. Carey is an associate in the Business Law Group at Hemenway & Barnes. He advises clients on commercial and residential real estate matters and counsels closely-held and family owned businesses. Matthew represents individuals and businesses in all aspects of business planning.

Previously, Matthew was an associate in the corporate and real estate groups at a Boston-based law firm. While attending law school, Matthew served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Patricia A. Sullivan, Magistrate Judge at the U.S. District Court for Rhode Island and as a legal intern at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
