Patrick Moore Serves on Boston Bar Association’s Judicial Independence Working Group


M. Patrick Moore served as a member of the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) Judicial Independence Working Group. The Group’s report, Judicial Independence: Promoting Justice and Maintaining Democracy, was released by the BBA on August 15, 2019. The 11 member working group included practitioners, retired judges and academics. The BBA’s report highlights the need for action on a number of fronts to preserve and defend judicial independence and also offers a broad set of recommendations for lawyers and others who share the responsibility of supporting this principle.
