Diane Tillotson to Receive Richard B. Johnson Award at Real Estate Bar Association Annual Meeting & Conference


Hemenway & Barnes partner, Diane C. Tillotson, will be presented with the prestigious Richard B. Johnson Award at the Real Estate Bar Association (REBA) Annual Meeting & Conference on November 5, 2018.

The Richard B. Johnson Award is the highest honor bestowed by the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts. An award for lifetime achievement, it recognizes the recipient's outstanding and selfless contributions to advancing the practice of real estate law. Award recipients have included members of the judiciary, former officers of the Association, members of the Land Court's legal staff and distinguished conveyancers. Diane’s practice covers a broad range of land use litigation and permitting matters, including zoning and environmental litigation, boundary and easement disputes, contested land court registration cases, land damage cases and tax abatement and exemption issues. She advises property owners and educational, religious and other institutions in obtaining permits from municipal and state agencies and has served as special counsel to several Massachusetts cities and towns.

Diane is a past-president of REBA and remains a frequent speaker at their events.
