Boston Bar Association Annual Meeting 2018

Westin Boston Waterfront

9/28/2018

Hemenway & Barnes is proud to sponsor the 2018 Boston Bar Association (BBA) Annual Meeting, one of the largest legal community gatherings of its kind. This year’s Annual Meeting will feature James Forman, author of Locking Up Our Own: Crime and Punishment in Black America, winner of the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction.

The Boston Bar Annual Meeting breakfast will bring together Boston Bar members, their friends and colleagues, as well as leaders from non-profits, government agencies, corporations and a variety of professional sectors throughout the Commonwealth for a morning of inspiration and thought leadership, focused on engaging the legal community in disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline.

Pat Moore, counsel, is co-chair of the Government Lawyers Forum at the BBA. Sarah Waelchli, counsel, is a member of the BBA Annual Meeting Steering Committee and a co-chair on the CLE Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section. Kevin Ellis, associate, is co-chair of the Legal Education Committee / Brown Bag Lunch Series of the Tax Exempt Organizations Section at the BBA. Edward Notis-McConarty, partner, and Hemenway & Barnes are long-term supporters of the BBA and the affiliated Boston Bar Foundation.
