Senior Attorney
Hemenway & Barnes LLP is seeking a senior level attorney to join our Business Law Group. We represent privately held businesses, nonprofits and individuals in business and real estate matters throughout New England.
In representing family and other owner-led businesses in all stages of growth, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in assisting companies with formation, equity and debt financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing, corporate restructurings, compliance, and general commercial agreements. Additionally, they will counsel businesses on succession planning, including multigeneration shareholder agreements and governance principles.
We also provide comprehensive representation in all aspects of sophisticated commercial and residential real estate law including acquisitions and dispositions, commercial financing, condominium and cooperative law, construction and architectural contracts, development, environmental law, leasing, litigation, loan restructuring and modifications, permitting and land-use planning, and zoning.
Successful candidates should have an entrepreneurial spirit, committed to advancing a growing practice. Portable book of business is preferred but not required.
