Webcast

6/16/2016

Hemenway & Barnes Counsel Harry F. Lee will be a speaker at the “Best of the Best” Rebroadcast, 17th Annual New England Estate Planning Conference 2016, organized by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE).

Mr. Lee will speak on the panel addressing “What You Need To Know About the New (or Soon-to-be-Released) Section 2704 Regulations.” The estate planning community anxiously awaits the new regulations under Section 2704 that are expected to curtail discounts for certain family business interests transferred to family members. If proposed regulations are released prior to the Conference, this session will focus on what the regulations say and their impact on legal practice. If they are not yet released, this session will examine the expected scope of the regulations and focuses on the actions clients may want to consider before the new regulations become effective.
